Hockey Stick Tackiness or How to Add Extra Grip to any Stick

What you'll need:

  • piece of old hockey stick
  • roll of black or white hockey tape depending on color preference

Cut a piece of the hockey stick to around 12" in length. Starting a few inches from the end of the stick wrap some tape with the sticky side up.

After you have about 8" of tape with the sticky side up, run it along the shaft of your hockey stick where you want to add extra grip or tackiness.

You will have to re-apply after a game or two but it's easy enough to keep the 'grip tape stick' in your bag for application when you need it.
